French Polynesia is an overseas territory of France.

- Valid passport or Refugee Travel Document - must be valid at least 3 months beyond the applicant's last day of stay.

- Valid U.S. visa with original form I-94 and I-20 or IAP-66 (if applicable) or original Alien Registration Card of Form I-512.

- Copy of complete round-trip ticket(s) or confirmed itinerary showing exact dates of travel.

- Proof of sufficient funds for your stay in French Polynesia (3 recent Bank statements, cashiers/travelers cheques, etc.).

- Letter of continued employment including an income statement.

- Proof of travel/health/accident insurance (minimum of medical coverage US$ 37,000).

Tourist:

- Confirmed hotel reservation or confirmation of tour.

Business:

- Official business invitation from a company in French Polynesia.

Private:

- Attestation of accommodation. Your host in the territories can obtain this document at the City Hall, by showing a proof of identity and 2 proofs of lodging (rental contract, phone bill, power bill etc.).
